Kids Being Kids Portraits

Amy Johnson is a popular children’s photographer in the Evergreen and Conifer area.

She has been an avid photographer since earning money for her first camera in eighth grade.

But it wasn’t until the birth of her children that children’s portrait photography became a passion.

Amy currently has displays in the front lobby of the renovated Wulf Recreation Center (formerly called the Evergreen Recreation Center) and in the lower level of the Buchanan Recreation Center in Evergreen. Her work was featured on the August 2006 cover of Mountain Connection and on several covers of the Evergreen Recreation District schedule.

A big part of her life is charity work. She loves to take pictures for Colorado Heart Gallery, which displays photos of kids who are having a difficult time getting adopted.
